Has your life been impacted in some way by the Coronavirus epidemic, or the attempts being made by governments to combat it? Perhaps you are watching as it is making life hard for someone you love, know, or are aquatinted with. Regardless of whether it strikes close to home, or is far away, we can’t escape the feeling it leaves us with. When we are in trouble, hurting, afflicted, or watching the suffering in someone dear to us, we are tempted to separate ourselves, and then, as the silence of God continues, a sense of helplessness, and loneliness sets in. As Christians we are never alone; nor without help, even when our prayers are met with silence God is with us always... this is our promise, and our firm belief.

Christmas Day is just three mornings away, and for most people, the thought of its coming is joyous, and exhilarating, but for others a dark mystery is unfolding. For some a sense of depression sets in during the Christmas season, and for a few of these, it will be so intense that they will be inclined to take their own lives. Depression is a disease, but like all illnesses God can heal it... His strength can bring us through this dirge, and restore our joy. Do you need God’s healing strength this year?

Are you someone who worries over every little thing that might possibly happen to you in the future, or, are you a person who leans on God to provide solutions as problems arise? There is much discussion today about the negative effects of stress and worry on our health, but if you hold tight to the promise that Jesus made to us you will live a life that is free of such things.

Where do you turn for help with your children when you are out of answers yourself? When you are at the end of your rope, and hanging in the air, unable to save them, what do you do? Who do you call on? Whether we are talking about faith, physical sickness, addiction, or mental health, where do we go for assistance when every effort of our own has failed? Well, there is only one answer, and Jesus provides it!

Do we feel confident enough in the healing power of Jesus to touch the fringe of His garment and be healed? Have we been praying for healing but are now growing weary waiting for Him to come to us? Well maybe it is time in our desperation to try a new tactic... to ask His will, and touch whatever part of Him is close with the full expectation of being healed in that instant.

Are you sick, lame, blind, pursued by Demons, or in any other way in need of healing? Well if so are you following Jesus and asking Him in faith to heal you? Are you going wherever He goes until your belief has at last reached its peak, and you not only believe He can heal people, but that He is the Son of God, and can heal YOU? No? Well perhaps then you are you like Thomas, and need a sign. Follow Him, pursue Him, and stretch out your hand expectantly towards Him to receive His healing touch.

Do you have a loved one who is sick today, perhaps even unto death? Have you done all that you know how to do for them? In desperation have you at long last uttered a prayer to Jesus asking Him for a healing? Maybe this sick one is you. If this is happening in your life then surrender yourself to Jesus Christ, praying first for faith, and belief... this is the ointment that heals us.

Do you have an intolerance for those who are yet to accept Jesus as their savior? Do you walk a wide circle around those who still live in sin and treat them as if they were lepers; having nothing to do with them? If you have found the Love of Jesus Christ, and it has changed your life, don’t horde Him... share the love He had for you while you were yet a sinner with those around you. Even though you don’t find yourself to be a preacher... teach the gospel.

When you are sick with a cold and you pray for healing, then go to the pharmacy to get medicines to treat your runny nose, cough and fever, where do you then place the trust for your healing? We are meant to do what we can to take good care of our bodies, but when we call on both physical and spiritual remedies, do we allow the physical ones to overshadow the spiritual ones? Does your faith supplement the cough syrup, or does the cough syrup supplement your faith?

Prayer heals us; it heals our physical illnesses, and it heals our spiritual sickness. The answer of prayer can be seen in the lame walking again, and it can also be witnessed in the forgiveness of sin. What is our need today? Is our body, or the body of a loved one, in need of prayer? Are we desperately in need of salvation, or the forgiveness of sin?

Have you ever received a divine healing, or perhaps known someone who did? When this occurred did you praise and glorify God? If not, why? Have you heard tell of people who were miraculously healed, and yet you were skeptical, or doubted they were ever sick in the first place? If so, then why? In our modern society, we are reluctant to acknowledge God when healings occur... why is this so? It is because our faith is under attack by unbelievers and we have succumb to their influence. It is Fear in some form.

Do you fear for your children? Does their strength of faith as opposed to all the sin and evil in this world terrify you? No matter who you are, the love of your children brings you terror for them. Given this, if one of your children had just died and Jesus had miraculously healed them what would be your immediate inclination? Wouldn’t it be to fall at His feet, and then to tell everyone about what He had just done? To make believers of them! Wouldn’t it be to shout to the world that this man Jesus Christ was a miracle worker, and exactly who He said He was? Well what if He told you to keep that amazing miracle silent?

Have you ever realized that Jesus provides the life force that powers your soul, that he takes the current that flows from God, and transforms it into just the right wattage, and amperage for the spiritual motor that drives us? Certainly there have been those people that God has interacted with directly, but His current far exceeds our limited mortal capability. Jesus on the other hand provides for us all day long, everyday, without overpowering our spiritual senses. He is the transformer that adjusts the power of God to supply our spiritual engines... our daily lives

Have you ever donated blood? Have you gone down to the Red Cross and given because they said that they were running low and that people might die without it? Well, when you did this you probably did so because yes, it would help someone, and no, it wouldn’t harm you in any way to give. Likely, you didn’t think much about all those people who depend on you to share your blood with them... but Jesus did.
