Visions and God's will, His plan, for us. This is my contemplation today. God gives us glimpses, and sometimes very detailed insights into what He has planned for us, and then He goes about accomplishing His will through us. The question becomes this... are we totally on board with His plan for us; are we excited about the vision (where He is taking us), or are we reluctant passengers, ready to disembark before the final destination has been reached? Are the goals we have for our lives consistent with His?

Do you dream and awaken in surprise to find that what you thought was real, was only a dream? Have you ever had a heart to heart conversations with the Lord, or received a Word from Him, that was incredibly wonderful, and so vividly real that you just knew it had to be prophetic, or biblical? Most of the time our dreams are transient, and fade from our memory once we are fully awake, but occasionally, especially if we tell someone what we have dreamed, they become lasting memories. When the Lord actually speaks to us in our dreams, they bridge the ether between the physical and spiritual world so completely that we wake up with the tastes and smells of heaven still fresh in our senses. Dreams are not of the past, and yes, we still dream divine dreams today…

Have you ever dreamed that you had done something, and your dream seemed so real that when you woke up you started your day fully convinced that whatever you had dreamed had actually occurred? Then, when you realized that it was just a dream you were shocked, and disappointed? Dreams are amazing, some are frightening, some enlightening, and others bizarre, but occasionally we receive one that we are convinced is from God, and dreams such as this, the ones we not only think are true, but are convinced have significance beyond a night’s fantasy, can be life altering. Some dreams bridge the ether of spiritual thought to become physical reality, and these are like an answered prayer or a divine directive. Dreams such as this are rare, but they can change the course of lives, and sometimes history’s.
