When bad things happen in your life are you quick to become despondent, or perhaps angry? Do you immediately assign blame, and lash out at what you consider to be the cause? How about when something good occurs? When something wonderful happens to you do you jump forward and shout out “Look at what I have done!” Thus claiming the glory for it? Well friends, in all things, the good and bad, we should always look for the hand of God. We should ask ourselves... Where is God‘s voice in this, and what is His will?

Who is our Champion against all trouble we face?

When we are afraid where do we turn? When we are lost, threatened, or our world appears to be collapsing, where do we look for deliverance? In our confusion who do we look to for wisdom and guidance? If we turn to man, or to our own counsel, then we are teetering on the brink of disaster, but when we look to God, then our path is made straight, and the outcome of every challenge in life will most certainly be good.

Physically, and Mentally, Collapsing under the Load of Life.

Do you carry around a heavy load of stress, and anxiety that comes from all the problems you have in your life? Do you keep repeating “The Lord won’t put any more on me than I can endure.” as if that were scripture? Yet, the problems keep mounting and you are about to break? Well that saying isn’t scripture, and the Lord never intended that we solve our own problems, but rather that we bring them to Him. We were not created self-sufficient; we were made to need God, to love Him, and be worshipful of Him.
