Though we are Dust, are we worthy in the Eyes of God?

Do you ever find yourself worrying about being inadequate in the eyes of God? Do you recall all of your human shortcomings, and think “How can God, the creator of the universe, possibly tolerate me; much less love me?” Then, In your despair, He takes your hand, fills you with His Spirit, and you find yourself amazed to realize that despite all your faults He does love you... so deeply that He sent His Son, and His Spirit to redeem, and transform you? This is more than mercy, it is more than grace, it is a love that conquers all things, forgets all your faults, and forgives the bitterness of every sin. 

Forgiveness; not something we do right now, but Forever

Why is your forgiveness by God tied to your own forgiveness of others? There are certain people who have hurt us that we are inclined to dislike or hold a grudge against forever, and some, who will not change their offending behavior, or become reconciled to you. Forgiveness... it takes one person to forgive, but two to reconcile, yet the first step to any reconciliation is always forgiveness. Yes, forgiveness can be so hard!

The Blessing of Forgiving to be Forgiven

You are a believer in Jesus Christ, and you do your best to order your life by His teaching, but do you believe, truly believe, that He forgives your sins? If you do, if you believe in who He is, and you believe that He is capable of forgiving your sins, then why is it that you can’t forgive yourself, and let those sins go? Why is it that you continue to carry the guilt of having sinned when God has decided not to remember them?
