All in Testifying
We are a lot like Moses when it comes to delivering the Gospel message. We question our ability with the same excuses which he used… we begin with saying that we are not the right person for the job and that God has obviously made a mistake by asking us to do this. Do you remember the universal excuse that Moses used, and that we are often guilty of employing?
Once we have come to love those around us as Jesus has commanded us to do, how do we go about showing that love? We say that there is no greater love than to lay down our life for another, but do we understand the full meaning of this verse? There is also another way we can demonstrate our love that actually saves our life, and the lives the ones we love… that is to bring back a sinner from their wandering.
Are we afraid to tell others what God has done for us? Do we fear that they might think we are singing our own praises because He has done so many wonderful and amazing things in our lives? Well we couldn’t be more wrong than to remain silent because the Lord deserves our open praise, and worship before all people, and nothing lifts Him higher than to speak of all He has done for us.
