All in Simplicity

How is our spirit today? Is it intertwined with the Holy Spirit as they both dwell within us? Have we accepted Jesus Christ as our savior, and by this have we come to receive the Holy Spirit of He who raised Christ from the dead? If so, then in this way we are freed form sin and death, and become the children of God, and the hope of all creation. For Just as our redemption comes to us through Jesus Christ, the further redemption of God’s creation comes through us by our acceptance of Him... in this way we secure the extended salvation of all creation.

Salvation, it is so simple that we just can’t believe eternity is given to us in such a way. Believing in the gospel, and being baptized... how could this be the entire price of our salvation, and of eternity in Heaven? We think this way because we undervalue two things... God’s love for us, and the power of His grace. Are you busy trying to raise the price of your salvation so that you can feel as if you have worked for it; earned it? Well you can’t... it is a gift.

In the name of Jesus Christ rests great power. We call upon it in faith, and by so doing it heals, saves, and provides for our forgiveness of sin. No other name has such strength in it, or reaches the Father’s ear, but before we can call on His name we must believe in the man, the Son of God, and obey. We can add nothing to it that will improve upon it. Call His name, but call it in faith, precision, and certainty.
