All in Leaning on God
Have you ever faced a problem and prayed for God to reveal His will to you, and to guide you through it, but then, when He had brought you to that place where you felt comfortable once more, did you simply tell Him “thanks” as you went about your merry way alone? This happens all of the time to believers, but the Lord doesn’t want to be the taxi that you call in a pinch, He wants to be your personal automobile that you depend on day and night to take you everywhere you go.
Are we reluctant to claim the grace of God in all aspects of our Christian life? Do we attempt to walk the Christian way but only call on the grace of God when we stumble or face hardship? If so, then we are not trusting in Him, and our prayers are not without ceasing.
Do you really know what tomorrow will bring you? Oh you think that you can surmise it based on the events of today, but in fact we can not. Life is fluid and ever changing, and many things are understood only by God Himself. So how does not knowing tomorrow make you feel, less human or more human? Does not being able to fully understand the world or something in it turn you towards God, or cause you to feel alone and insignificant?
