All in Heirs
Are our lives a manifestation of God’s glory? Are we more than mere flesh and blood, such that we not only say and do good things, but are also living and breathing praise to Him? We often hear the expression “People should see Christ in you.”, but do they, and to what end is this most important? I ask again... are we the embodiment of praise such that others who see us will experience God’s glory?
Once we have placed our faith in Jesus Christ, who are we then? Our transformation might be an amazing surprise to us, but it is far from surprising to God. He foresaw our adoption as sons and daughters from the very foundation of the world. Are you prepared to take on this life as one of God’s children? By our faith we have become the children of privilege who sit around the feet of God the Father, and receive His every blessing.
Are we like a slave in our Father’s house, or is it time to step forth and become what our Heavenly Father has desired for us from before the moment we were born? Are you ready to hear and assume God’s will for you, or are you clinging to the life of a child in His house?
When you look at who you are in a mirror you probably see a family resemblance that confirms you to be part of your earthly family, but when you look at the reflection of yourself that is being returned to you by those around you... who do you see? Do you see a similarity to Jesus Christ? How about your Heavenly Father?
