All in God in our Lives

As you move through your day do you feel God’s presence there with you? And, as you work to obey and perfect the character of Christ in your life can you sense Him abiding inside you as well? If you listen carefully you will find that the Holy Spirit is speaking to you of this closeness. Is your fear relieved at the very thought that all three of these are there with you right now? These questions should guide you, and the mere thought of the divine closeness of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, should change how you live your life today, and cause you to refocus your priorities, and restructure your life, from this moment on.

Satan would have us think that obeying God’s will means that ours must be done away with, and that we must become some kind of automaton to God. He would have us believe that if we are within God’s will then our own has been erased. Friends, this couldn’t be further from the truth; our will is valued by our Heavenly Father. He desires that we choose to be obedient to His will and plan for us, but that it must come by our own free choice and be in concert with His own willingly. Jesus wasn’t forced to choose God’s will… He chose to set aside His own desires and to obey God’s will of His own accord.

Our lives are held in the hands of the Lord, and as much as we would like to think that we are in control of our destiny we can’t add a single minute to our years. God can rescue us from disaster, He will save us from those who would do us harm, and His eyes never lose sight of us. No matter the perils we face, His arms are always stronger, and his grip on us never fails. We are most certainly secure in His hands.
