Are there clouds in your life, and if so, what do they look like? Are they the big billowy white ones that we typically see on a bright summer day? How about the thin wispy ones that stretch out as if forever? Or are they the dark churning clouds that tower into the sky and are filled with lightning and ominous rolls of thunder? God is in the clouds, all clouds, and how does He come to you in them today?

I was reading and studying Psalm 107 this morning. It reminded me of the state of the world today. I have written on this subject before... Men not recognizing the miracles and mercies of God for what they are. We, as a people, failing to praise Him for His loving kindness, especially in the face of incredible devastation. Let’s look today at how we should praise God in all things, and without end. In this psalm the psalmist begins with a call to prayer by saying... “O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.” Then he goes on to give examples of God's provisions that occur every day and are worthy of our praising Him. Do we do this? Do we praise him in the storms?

Sometimes we feel like we are surrounded by trouble and that everywhere we turn there is a problem brewing, an enemy preparing to harm us, or some form of suffering that has befallen us, and in such times it is easy to fall into despair by believing that there is nowhere safe for us to turn, and that there is no waiting rescue. However, as believers in God, and Jesus Christ we do have relief, and there is a calm at the center of every storm we find ourselves in… let me tell you about that calm. Let me tell you about Jesus.
