As men and women of faith we have hope bubbling up in us, and it is recognized as true by those around us, even if they don’t yet believe, or understand it. Are you asked why you act joyfully the way you do, or why there is a peace in you that defies understanding, and a sense of humility even though you are strong? When asked such questions do you shrug your shoulders or do you tell them about Jesus, and His gospel? Do you listen to their questioning and then hoe the weeds from around the tiny seedling that God planted there as a grain of faith, or are you afraid of failure, so you ignore them?

What are you prepared to endure as you deliver the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who need to hear it? In the process of placing salvation in the hearts, minds, and souls of those who are lost do you tread precariously along the precipice of hell, and risk the loss of your own salvation? Sometimes we find that it is necessary to dine with sinners before they will hear what we have to say about our faith, but we must never let go the hand of Christ, or go out before We are sent.

Do we find ourselves hiding the fact that we are Christians? Do we think that praying in secret is the same thing as silently maintaining our faith in Jesus? Do we feel it is the same belief... albeit unknown to others? well it is not. if we Acknowledge Christ to those around us, He will admit to His Father that we are wonderfully His, but if we do not speak openly of our faith in Jesus then He will not know us.

When was the last time you spoke to someone about your faith? I am not talking about standing on the street corner atop a soapbox or handing out tracts; I am referring to an earnest conversation about Jesus Christ with a friend at work who is suffering and lost, or a child you know that needs to hear one of the parables of Jesus to help them understand a life lesson? We often blame society for emasculating our faith, when the truth is that we gave up our swords of faith long ago. We stand in our armor of faith with no weapon and bemoan our circumstances.
